Wow sounds like a couple of people here must be of pure blood indigenous heritage and can't comprehend mixed heritages... I think that is harder to understand than the OP's query.
My man, Britain and London especially is a melting pot of cultures and we support who we feel represents us best I would guess - hence AJ's massive support. Hence Fury's massive support. Hence Chisora's large fan base. Hence Dillian Whytes large fan base. Hence Ricky Hatton's legendary following. Hence Amir Khan's huge following........

im not talking about inmigrant and semiasimilated people but the native british that seem to compose the mayority of his fans.
how can you degrade yourself to such an extent to support someone that is spitting at you?

i simply cant believe what i see
I think your inability to believe that people might not have a problem with someone celebrating their roots say a great deal more about you and whatever effed up values you hold than it says about Joshua and his fans. I ain't even a particular fan of Anthonys but I am Helleno - Anglic by birth and have spent the vast majority of my life living in the UK. Would you consider I was 'spitting' on the UK by celebrating my Greek heritage?
Maybe it'd be helpful if I localise my point by providing an example of a well loved immigrant from whereever it is you hail from? Maybe that'd help get to the bottom of whatever your issue is here?

Lol the irony is strong in this thread. A non-English speaker, lecturing the British on how to decide who is worthy of their support, in broken English!
The racist undertones in this thread are boring and not even well put. AJ is first generation British, born of proud Nigerian heritage. I think that makes him even MORE worthy of our support. Plus he won Britain a gold model and staged some of the biggest boxing events ever on our soil. What's not to like??
Both of his parents are Nigerian. You can be British and Nigerian. But really, who cares where someone is from? Joshua's affinity and pride for being Nigerian doesn't affect me - if its affecting you, maybe stop watching boxing?
