He might of not said it, but he didn't give any indication that he wanted to continue either, he spat out his mouthpiece and was looking at his corner like what do I do can yall tell the ref I dont have more fight in me

Hes been champ and he can rebound, I don't think he wins the rematch but I don't write him off either, he did drop Ruiz first, I don't remember if I posted here my thoughts on the first fight, but I felt Ruiz could win it cause of his skills, but I knew that Ruiz likes to eat shots and I felt they would give him a stoppage

I think AJ is not approaching the right game plan for him for this rematch, looking to popshot him around the ring, now thats how you beat Ruiz but I don't think AJ can accomplish that, but will see what hes made off, either way im excited for this weekend, hopefully its exciting as the first

I think AJ would have cried if ref hadn't called the fight off.

Joshua was absolutely done in that fight. Good stoppage by the ref.

AJ you were impressive when you lost , taking it like a man and acknowledging that Ruiz and the ref had done their job
Now you just sound like a fughin sore loser
Why don’t you actually start thinking boxing and forget the chit around you
Imo he is not ready for this rematch and I mean mentally and physically ( with all the weight loss , i think it will take a toll on him , to much to soon )
I just hope the best man on the evening of the 7th wins and 8mo that will Andy Ruiz
          Thinking the destroyer will repeat

Joshua didn't quit .A quit is like what Amir Khan did when knowing he had no chance and was hit on the top of his thigh.....a cowards way out.Joshua simply didn't know what was happening and how and why people moaned at the stoppage is beyond me he would have been permanletly damaged had the ref been ****** enough to let it continue.
No, you will see again if Josh doesn't manage to KO Ruiz , Joshua again taking his lumps again the referee stepping in to save Joshua again a sitting duck.

I wish he would just say, I didn't handle the adversity well or I was concussed....and don't remember what I was thinking in the moment. Seems to me he is more concerned with his image than what happened in the ring. He may lose this rematch on nerves alone.

Really not sure what "quit" actually means. Some felt Brook quit after fracturing his orbital bone because he chose not to continue. Boxing is such a brutal sport and people have lost their lives in the ring, while others have taken punishment with them that remains long after the fight. It's not quitting to me but that's just me.
