    The polls have been open for 24 hours now. I won't close them, I'll just replace them when titles exchange. So, there's still time to change the results.

    To build suspense, I'll go in reverse order.

    BoxingScene Champions:

    Minimumweight: Wanheng Menayothin 80%

    Light Flyweight: Ken Shiro 87.5%

    Flyweight: Kosei Tanaka 87.5%

    Super Flyweight: Juan F. Estrada 91.67%

    Bantamweight: Naoya Inoue 92%

    Super Bantamweight: Emanuel Navarrete 52.38%

    Featherweight: Leo Santa Cruz 41.67%

    Super Featherweight: Miguel Berchelt 73.91%

    Lightweight: Vasyl Lomachenko 97.50%

    Super Lightweight: Jose Ramirez 63.33%

    Welterweight: Errol Spence Jr. 51.02%

    Super Welterweight: Julian Williams 80%

    Middleweight: Canelo Alvarez 55.36%

    Super Middleweight: Callum Smith 75.68%

    Light Heavyweight: Artur Beterbiev 74.51%

    Cruiserweight: Mairis Briedis 63.64%

    Heavyweight: Tyson Fury 38.03%

    Pound for Pound: Vasyl Lomachenko 58.33%

    ----------------------------------------------------

    Least disputed champion in boxing: Lightweight: Vasyl Lomachenko 97.50%

    Most disputed champion in boxing: Heavyweight: Tyson Fury 38.03%

    Least interesting weight division in boxing: Light Flyweight & Flyweight only got 8 votes each.

    Most interesting weight division in boxing: Heavyweight with 72 votes.

    Congratulations to the champions! Thanks for voting!

    ----------------------------------------------------------

    It'll update results when there's a change. I don't think Haney's promotion warrants asking the Loma question again.

    The polls are stickied, but, here's a link anyway:

    There should be a rule where someone has to get a certain percentage of the vote to be named champion.

    For example, there clearly isn’t a champion at heavyweight since none of us agree.

    You should also include Guillermo Rigodeaux in the 122 pound division since he never lost a fight at that weight, is the current lineal champion and the WBA only stripped him for moving up to fight Lomachenko which is insane.

      I thought about that for just a second myself but reckon'd folks would suggest I did that to save Wilder the embarrassment as my sig gives away my fandom.

      Before I make more champions polls I'm going to make polls on rules and judgements. For example, loads asked for vacancy. I think vacancy just makes it more convoluted. I was trying to have official BS picks for men who are champions. Being able to declare no champion is a bit of an affront to the idea, but, who am I to tell y'all what's right to do?

      So, by the community for the community is how I'll be running this.

      Let yer objections be heard, I'll poll the community and make a thread with results.

        Featherweight: Leo Santa Cruz 41.67% - WBA

        Super Featherweight: Miguel Berchelt 73.91% - WBC

        Lightweight: Vasyl Lomachenko 97.50% - WBA WBC WBO

        WBC = 9

        WBA = 6

        WBO = 5

        IBF = 4

        The WBC champions seem to be BoxingScene's favorite champions. Does this bring any legitimacy to the WBC's prestigious claim?

          Shows how ****** people here are. Fury's con****uously the best in that weight class. And not just at present, ever.

          I've never seen "fans" of a sport/subject so illiterate on the topic.

          "I like dat guy cuz he looks like my friend from choich"

          "I like dat fighter cuz he orders da same fing I do from Waffle House"

          "He musta won dat fight. He wear da freshest kick. Urr Furce Wunnz!"

          A conversation with an average Boxing "fan" quickly starts to feel like an advertisement for Planned Parenthood.

              Yup.

              It's like the transcript from a conversation held at a Down Syndrome Convention.

              If you know Boxing you know Fury runs away with it.

              Here's a realistic top 10 for the current Heavyweight Division:

              1-9) Fury
              10) Someone who doesn't know who his dad really is.

              The footage is readily available. This isn't hard. If you don't get it, stick to the NBA.
