  • Eddie Hearn threatening to sue WBC

With Eddie Hearn threatening to sue the WBC if Wilder Fury 2 is arranged, what are your thoughts?
Is Hearn losing his cool? Do you think he has the power and leverage to sue the WBC?

Its poitless. The feds have already made clear that they won't even bother to enforce the Ali Act. These sanctioning bodies can pretty much do whatever they want with no repercussions.

his frustration is understood with his cash cow losing, whyte is his next best thing so he wants him in position for a big fight, however wilder wont have to fight another mandatory by law until 05/2020 so if the fury fight is for 02/2020 what really can hearn do? whyte should have fought n beat breazealle b4 he fought wilder n made himself the mandatory. the WBC will do what benefits them, not hearn

The first post is incorrect. He's not threatening to sue if Wilder Fury II is made.

He was taking about them signing up in advance for a trilogy.

                So, good thread.

I think scumbag Suleiman is corrupted to the point where he's not afraid of any promoter suing him.

Regardless of the scenario, the man has delusions of grandeur in regards to the power he has against the governing bodies. He'll be frozen out by the big players in the US, similar to the way he was doing to others in the small pond in the UK.
