did Joe Frazier have skills? Or just a hard punch and good stamina?

Ali said on multiple occassions that Frazier had no skill, just a hard punch and strong will. He made these remarks on neutral occassions, not just in the build up to a Ali-Frazier fight. He sounded like he meant what he was saying, not just trash talk.

What do you guys think? If you had to say what skills Frazier had, what type of skills did he have?

I think he his bob and weave defense was underrated.

Best heavyweight inside fighter.

Deceptively elusive and great at staying on top of his opponent.

Excellent at placing and timing punches. Overlooked counterpunching. Was not one-handed.

Not the most skilled, but he had his fair share of skills.

Back when it actually meant something, not like now with all the phoney associations and horrible competition!!! Theres as much skill to be a pressure fighter as there is being a mover or counter puncher. Actually theres more to it than boxing but or styles come from within and physical stature and abilities is what molds our style!

As for Smokin' Joe , if he is not skilled ,then Ali lost to an unskilled fighter , who even managed to knock him down.
