Ringside Super Bag Glove question

I just received my first pair of Ringside Super Bag Gloves. I was a little shocked about how big they were. I must say that I have been using extremely small gloves so I am sure that had an effect on how I perceived them. I ordered the Ringside gloves in LARGE. My question is for an average male is LARGE the size I should be using or should I have gone with medium. They don't feel really loose but they aren't really tight on my hands either.

Just for the record I am 6'0 165-170lbs.

with your size you could've went with the medium or the large but i would have gotten the large incase your still growing
