Did anyone ever believe Andre Ward was ever on Floyd Mayweather Jr's level or above?

They are both great, no need to compare

I don't think Mayweather was lacking but it did not seem a component of his approach to go to the body regularly, where as Ward sought the body out. One punch an approach does not make... I am sure his short right uppercut is a great punch regardless.

But this is a point that is difficult to prove and probably is a matter of opinion.
