Was'nt you one of those posters saying golovkin was avoiding danny jacobs and was affraid to face off with a legitmate contender....now the fight is geting closer nice to see your changing your tune lol

Nope. I've said all along Jacobs is B-level and does little for Golovkins resume. I said Jacobs should have accepted 25% too because he isn't a draw.

Bottom line with this fight is if Jacobs brings his A game he might have a shot at catching Golovkin early. If he doesn't bring it, it will be business as usual for Golovkin. A methodical beat down with a foregone conclusion. Let's forget about race color or creed and just focus on what each fighter really brings to the table. God willing it will be an entertaining fight. That's what boxing fans really want. Isn't it?

its true....he is the only so called p4p entrant who has not beaten A level or at least one elite fighter

he is talented, but his resume is lacking. Much of the hype comes from how he knocks out overmatched, guys who have been KTFO before. Most of his victims had ko losses before he ever faced them, so it kinda makes him look like a monster, even though the level of opposition is wholly average or below for someone with his kind of hype

geegg fans need to stop bringing up stevens an lemiux as if those were top quality wins. they are not bums and are just decent wins.. but if the shoe were on the other foot and Jacobs fans tried to use those wins to justify how great he was you all would laugh them to scorn

Ggg just has had trouble getting top guys to fight..
Guys like Murray, Jacobs, brook etc had no issues signing on the dotted line

Jacobs on Golovkin: "He's being placed [in a position where he is] the best in the world, but in reality he hasn't proved that yet." The funny thing is, the same people who talk shit about Golovkin now, still won't give him props if he beats Danny, because deep down they know Jacobs isn't the best. Golovkin has the Roy Jones issue, when he was in his prime. Too good for the rest of the guys at his weight. There is a reason why they wont let him go to 168 yet

Jones actually fought good opposition and embarassed them...he also moved up and won titles from 160-175

during the era of his so called "mis-mandatories" after he beat Toney...... Jones beat hall of famers in Hill, McCallum....former champions in Malinga, Lucas, Del Valle, Griffin, Clinton Woods, Julio Gonzalez, Reggie Johnson and Otis Grant

its not the same to be honest and Jones was getting trashed by the media for who he fought from 1995-2002

in 35 fights GGG has only fought 4 world champions....from August '97-June of '99 when HBO and ESPN was saying he was fighting nobodies, he was beating champions....hell in less than 2 years he defeated Griffin, Hill, Del Valle, Reggie Johnson, and Otis Grant...the only soft touch he had was Richard Frazier and people had a field day over this fight even though he was fighting quality more often than not
