Floyd wasn't "caught" doing anything. He was ill. Paramedics were called. In front of the USADA doping control officer who was with Floyd all day and witnessed his condition. Floyd was tested immediately before receiving the 25 ounces of salt water. The 25 ounces of salt water was given in front of the USADA DCO. Floyd was tested immediately after as well.

Then all of the information, evidence, and medical reports were sent to USADA to be analyzed so USADA could determine if everything is legitimate.

That is why it's a "retroactive" exemption. So the DCO doesn't have to make any decision in the heat of the moment and USADA can make an informed decision after considering all of the information and evidence.

He's not doing VADA, therefore he's roiding. Then Floyd Mayweather is not doing VADA, therefore he's roiding. He's the main reason why, most fighter insists on doing strict testing on a legit commission like VADA. because unlike USADA, a personal drug commission, it can be bribed. Mayweather's history about PED's is suspicious at best.

Floyd deserves props for even thinking about that stuff when nobody even considered guys could be on the juice. But the USADA route was never going to be viable for boxers with their price tags. You gotta give it to Donaire for partaking in real testing, putting VADA on the map as the go to for proper tests. VADA also garnered respect for catching guys and not throwing test results away. Goodman and even Conte deserve props for continually advocating the importance of testing, as much as they possibly could. As a result the WBC partnered with VADA (the WBC deserves major props for a real boss move) and non WBC guys like Bradley and Pac insist on VADA testing. They've certainly come a long way since being "the testing agency Donaire uses."

People have been cheating in boxing with drugs since the 50's. Way back Collie Wallace stated he was poisoned by his Mafia handlers because he wanted get out of his contract.
