He has a point he won't get credit for beating rigo because of him moving up two weight classes but he fighting rigo because it personal and I can respect that

      Yeah, it's a lose-lose for Loma. I made a thread on this.

Let's be 100% honest: Lomachenko will get ZERO credit for beating Rigondeaux

Rigo fans accused him of ducking even though it was Rigo who avoided him at 126. Now Rigo fans are back peddling. Rigo is too old, Loma is too big, Loma is ducking Mikey Garcia. Can't win for losing.

They're both p4p hype jobs with lacking resumes. Both have 1 decent win and low amount of professional fights. How much credit should either get for a win over the other?

Rigo fans have their excuses written down and ready to fire away.

Well maybe he should have met him in the middle he then wouldn't need to make that comment.

Depends on how he beats him I guess. If he just overpowers him and walks through Rigo's punches then he don't deserve credit coz it will be obvious that the size difference is what won him the fight.

But if he makes Rigo miss and outboxes, out-skills Rigo then he the man for sure.

I agree with him. Been saying that myself. This is to be expected when fights don't get made in timely fashion doe.

This is why promoters need to have less power + control so they aren't invested so much in building a brand for a fighter vs just putting on the best possible fight today which is what all promoters should be doing.
