  • GREAT WORK OUT I DO SOMETIMES - Only A JUMP ROPE is Required

    I forgot the name of this. It was in a packet in the boxing gym I train at along with all these other boot camp style exercises or whatever. This is one of the beginners exercises. It keeps on advancing as they become easier for the person. I tell you on the real this is awesome for increasing strength & endurance.


    All you need is a jump rope. It goes like this.

    1. Jump Rope 100 times. Each time you jump that counts as 1.
    2. 10 burpees
    3. 10 body squats
    4. 10 push ups

    Rest for 30 seconds

    That counts as 1 set.

    The packet says to do 4 - 6 sets. Once this exercise starts to becomes easy for you, it advances and becomes harder.

    After that 30 seconds of rest, start again at the jump rope. This exercise is meant to be intense which is why you only rest for 30 seconds.


    For those who don't know what a burpee is




    If you don't know how to do a proper body squat just youtube it. It's pretty easy to find.

    Can I add to this (Didn't see the vid)

    Since its a conditioning program... make sure you run in place for your jump rope...

      i actually do a variation of this all summer long. i like to do this bit of work outside.
