Obama ran his campaign and spent eight years in the White House using the "us against them" formula. He was the most divisive President this nation has ever seen. Glorified community organizer who made everything about us and them.

Have you taken a look around Congress, the news media, Hollywood, and listen to how cruel and hateful liberals are when describing conservatives and Republicans? Childlike in their tantrums, and downright disrespectful (Maxine Waters, Kathy Griffin), and I can assure you, no one on the right would have gotten away with half of what they have done if they were attacking Obama or Clinton.

When you look at the corruption and scandal that surrounded the Clintons for decades, and you listen to Obama rally the troops and talk about income inequality and the elites, then signs a $70M book deal and just purchased his 4th house worth $8M, you have to wonder how liberals can be so hypocritical to give them a pass. Barry is one of the elites, and has the audacity to preach from his ivory tower about how privileged his detractors are, while raking in millions. The man earned over $20M while President, how is that possible on a salary of $400K per year?

I'm just talking about the science. No need to get on your high horse when people are discussing facts.

The clusters of behaviours, beliefs etc are well established - but this is a statistical thing. Which means, if you try hard enough, you may find occasional counter-examples.

Especially if you make the assumption that leaders of the Democrats are typical examples of liberals. They aren't. The Democrat party are centrist.

Perhaps, instead of having a gut reaction to what I have written, and responding from that - make a decision to start learning about the actual measurable differences between liberals and conservatives - instead of just assuming that you know what they are.

They simply have to divide the world into 'us' and 'them' and then they have to invent stories to make the 'us' into virtuous heroes, and the 'them' into hell-bound scum.

They don't have a choice in that matter, it is hard-wired into their brains. It is a consequence of evolution.

So many of them speak about 'the left' and 'liberals' like they are some kind of bogeymen. They also do this without even having a clear idea of what those terms mean - just that they are labels for 'them'.

You won't see less of this happening. Like I said, they can't help it. But they are doing okay for apes - which is all that humanity really is.

Speaking of tribalism, it was the liberals that rioted, looted, assaulted, and even some cases murdered people after Trump won. No such thing happened after Obama's two victories. Furthermore, criminals tend to be liberal and vote Democratic since it was that party that gave convicted felons the right to vote again.
