Is it a requirement to have a trainer to compete in the Golden Gloves?

Is it a requirement to have a trainer to compete in the Golden Gloves?
I really want to fight in the Golden Gloves and train at a gym. I had a few amateur matches a couple years ago and have been sparring and want to fight in the Golden Gloves. Do I need a trainer to fight in the Golden Gloves or can I go in and fight independently?

Get your amateur boxing card and your in! You would be foolish to try and train on your own without sparring at a gym but its not a mandatory to have a trainer who is a member of amateur organizations.
Find the Golden Gloves representative in your area and get the info you need.
