Yeah it's really not very exciting if you don't have a rooting interest. And only mildly exciting when you do.

i appreciate the "novelty" of baseball. it's a tradition.

you also have plenty of time to react and become invested if you're actually a fan of the teams. some of those games go for 3+ hours.


that said, the game is horribly slow, and probably won't last as a major player on TV. i'm also expecting the bubble to pop on the salaries these guys make. some of them are making 25-30 million dollars a year, and they guarantee the entire contract.

Soccer is WAY more exciting then baseball, and I only watch like the world cup ever.
