Manny has always struggled with counterpunchers from Torrecampo, Marquez, Morales, Floyd, Sanchez even Bradley who is hardly renowned for his counterpunching ability.

He wouldn't require a gift against Castillo and wouldn't need a controversial win over Maidana. Hard to see Judah going the distance with the 2008/2009 Pacquaio also. He may have a harder time with catch-weight Canelo due to size. Pacquaio was a lot smaller than Floyd. He'd win handily in that one though still.

castillo 1 wasn't a gift, it was a close fight with a lot of writers going either way. more people seemed to have castillo ahead, but it was not a robbery and that talk should be hushed!

khan was damage goods when he fought canelo and was still able to get in on canelo. i am talking 09-10 manny!! canelo is already slow on his feet, now add in the part where he has to come down in weight.

09-10 pac blitz thru him. canelo wasnt even able to hurt an old damage cotto. its not if i think canelo is just gonna let manny come in and throw 6-7 punch combos, its the fact that he wont be able to stop it!

this right here!! aside from marquez, pac beat all the guys floyd beat in a way better fashion. and even against marquez, look at marquez's face after fighting manny then compare it with his fight against floyd.
