      He can hit it

But how often was kobe wide open?

The most efficient players are guys who only dunk or spot up shooters who only shoot when they're open

        Prince was good plus long

But he didn't stop kobe by himself that finals

They were switching, trapping, doubling even tripling on kobe that finals

        Kobe was overwhelmed

They left Ben Wallace on shaq

Shaq scored but Ben made him work for it and shaq gassed

Prime shaq would have singlehandedly destroyed Pistons with just Ben on him

But this was old, kinda out of shape shaq

Shaq got in better shape after when he move to the heat

or maybe most efficient players hit high percentage shots, not necessarily a dunk or wide open looks

the problem with Kobe having a low efficiency is because he tends to hero ball. Hitting those awkward shots when being double or triple teamed is not smart. He doesn't get too many wide open looks because he occasionally dominates the ball instead of rotating off-ball

They were a very good team that year.

But to answer your question, no.

Kobe's last few injury riddled years were a disaster, but I think people forget how great he was in his prime.

Watch the 2009 Playoff series against the Denver Nuggets. That's one of the most dominant series I've seen from a player. That Nuggets team was stacked too.

                Thats always kobe problem

If he was smart shot selector he would have had a better fg%

But for all the dumb crazy shots he took 45% was damn good

Man u don't watch freaking basketball

                  Almost won in 2004?

Pistons almost swept the lakers, dumbass.
They won 1 game, and had 2 games which could've gone either way. That series was easily winnable for LA had Kobe not **** the bed. The Pistons were not a high octane offense, if LA was efficient they would've taken them out.

Guess which was the one game lakers won? When kobe went off.
Uh, no shit, when you have a guy shooting 43-114 from the field your team is going to live and die by him. He's eating up all the shots from his teammates, wasting all their defensive stops, wasting all their offense rebounds, wasting the shot clock, wasting their possessions. Has it ever occurred to you Shaq was tired due to Kobe wasting everything they did? Forcing him to play harder? Making the game closer than it should've been?

And price didn't guard kobe by himself.

The whole pistons d focused on kobe.

Pistons plan was double, triple team kobe and make shaq beat them.

They gambled that stopping kobe, letting shaq go off and lakers couldn't win.

                  They were right. Shaq gassed.

Don't talk about stuff when u didn't watch the games, truck.
You do know I can find highlights on youtube right? Prince was locking Kobe's ass down in single coverage the majority of the time, they rarely threw doubles at Kobe:

You boy got locked up by Tayshaun Prince in single coverage. Btw, isn't Kobe some sort of all time great defender? Who did he shut down this series? Surely he could've wreaked havoc on this lowly Pistons offense. Just another facet of Kobe's game LA fan boys overrate. Inefficient offense, overrated defense.

This is the same city and fan base that made players like Jeremy Lin and Nick Young famous

Iverson was another inefficient chucker, he's one of the flashiest, most entertaining players of all time, but 42% and 31% from the field is not great at all. Westbrook really eclipsed him this year, you compare his and WB's best years to each other, it's not close. We have a plethora of guys putting up better or equal stats to him, Harden, Thomas, Lillard etc.

I also think Iverson's ability to drag that 76ers team to the finals is a testament to how much better teams have gotten. He wouldn't be able to do anything with that team in 2017 let alone take it to the Finals.

                      nowadays?

have you seen how pathetic the Eastern Conference is? Iverson overachieved in 2001 but in todays era especially in the East, he (and that Sixers lineup) could give Lebron a run for his money
