The Sanders - klitchko fight was funny cause you had Mr HBO pom poms Lampley Blowing there network champ Wlad, and him ripping on sanders saying , " as I look across the ring I see corrie sanders with his loose chest and ample midsection, and I see wladamir chizzeld as usual.
About 6 minutes later his champ gets dropped like 4-5 times in couple rounds

Did the buffalo and the foul pole ever fight? Too lazy to look it up. Those two could have fought for the world's white heavyweight title. I think there should be one of those the way there used to be a colored championship. Let the white heavyweights see how a belt feels. Fury held it for less than a fight. That has to be a record. Morrison was the last great white hope, and he turned out to be a steroid bull with AIDS.
You forgetting about the Klitschkos? They're white...2 of the greatest heavyweights of all time.

I didn't forget. I just do not agree with your assessment of those red behemoths.

Who were some of the great black fighters they knocked off? Right, they didn't.

What they had was their super size when it was still an unusual commodity among top heavyweights. They were beating smaller guys who were nothing special.

One of them had to quit against Chris Byrd, a master boxer but who couldn't punch his way out of a soap bubble.

Vlad was visibly unable to acquire fighting instinct in nearly in ten years as champion. The last I heard the brothers were working on a revolutionary theory that to win a fight you should punch your opponent more than he punches you. You can see he still did not quite know this at the time of the Fury fight, though. At the time of the Joshua fight he did not quite yet realize that when you have a man hurt you should try to hurt him some more before he recovers and hurts you. Give ol' Vlad a break. He had barely had 70 pro fights yet!

That is why these boys were not great heavyweights, despite having records and mantles full of belts that seem to testify otherwise. Great fighters get out there and they go for it. These guys never did do that. I firmly believe a prime Tyson dispatches them both on the same evening.

They beat whoever was in the division at the time. The controlled the division for 10 years and the Eastern Euros were the top dogs for that period.

            Yes...

            I love this ko.

Just for a brief moment, mike captured his preprison form and landed a short right hand that decapitated Botha
            Very exciting

The greatest moment of mike’s “later” years

And he was sort of barking every time he was nailling Tyson. It was funny to see the mind games work. Tyson couldn't handle it and was looking for a way out.

Imagine how pathetic he would have looked if he got DQ'd, this would be right after the cannibalistic display against Evander.

And to be honest it probably should have happened, he torqued hard on Botha's left arm and nobody is gonna tell me that didn't affect his left jab which was important in that fight. Another reason I don't give Tyson credit for this win. What a punk.

If Botha had been a bitch he could have faked a bad injury and gotten a DQ. But he was a man's man and continued. This guy was short yet he fought giants like Lewis and Klitschko. South Africa needs Botha right now to protect the farmers from those murderers prowling there.

Nice armlock though. Reminds me of the Frank Mir fight vs. Petey Williams where Mir submits Williams in the first round with the same kind of hold. Looks like some serious torque is done on the elbow and shoulder in both cases.

Yeah that was on the ground, Mir is quite the specialist.

But Jon Jones really executes this armlock perfectly. He badly injured Glover Texeira's arm here:

Btw, do you remember when Tyson tried to do this to Holyfield? In the first fight I believe. Evander got pissed and pushed Tyson off against the ropes. I'll try to find a gif of it.

Good one, but Mir got the win right there when he did his. How long is Jones suspended for now, anyway?
