  • Team Ortiz Won't Let Luis Ortiz Fight Anthony Joshua June 1

Steve Kim confirmed Eddie Hearn rang Luis Ortis's before ringing any other fighter but Ortis's team said 7 weeks is too short.. SMH 7 weeks is the average camp for most fighters. I thought this guy is the boogeyman? He should be ready in a week, atlest that's how Wilder fans will have you believe.

No one can call him the boogeyman now, he's a duck just like Wilder.

Mate, consider it for a minute. Luis Ortiz is 50 years old, probably stiff as hell, would need much longer than that to cycle on and off the PEDs himself and get them out of his system. There is literally no way Ortiz could be ready in 7 weeks cleanly, he would have a physique like Chris Arreola.

Hearn has rang team Ortiz and they said 7 weeks isn't long enough. Go and look up King Kong boxing twitter handle.. Its been silent.. Not a word. This is same handle that is normally actively dissing AJ at every opportunity and calling out AJ for a fight when AJ already had a fight signed.

Every single heavyweight that's doesn't have a fight lined up has said they'll fight AJ.. Even cruiserweights and lower weight boxers are saying they'll fight him but the guy that wanted him soooo badly before hasn't made one comment about wanting the fight now even though he's being targeted and is pretty much guaranteed a shot if he wants it??

Don't be surprised to see Otriz call AJ out on twitter next week after AJ has already found a new opponent.

Ortiz better be ready. But Its just as believable that Hearn will say he ducked out of the fight when its untrue. But Ortiz better be doing whatever necessary to land this fight, his fatass will never make this kind of pay ever again. If AJ does fight him hell get massive respect from me for 1.

Guess he's entering a cycle and doesn't want to be disturbed.

Ortiz needs to strap his nuts on, like he told Whyte to do

Ortiz has a history of using that Wilder blue print of calling out after a fighter has moved on.

I don't believe that shit because Luis Ortiz out of his own lips said that he was ready and wants that fight. The only reason why that fight might not happen is due to extenuating circumstances.

The PBC does not want Ortiz fighting on DAZN platform as was in the case of Deontay Wilder. It's not because he is afraid or ducking Joshua it's because of his loyalty to Al Haymon. It takes a lot to be afraid of $7mil.

If he signs with Matchroom and DAZN then they would want to keep him and he would never return back to Showtime or the PBC again because DAZN would want future options on his fights. That's why this is Al's call and not Luis Ortiz'.

                    .
Never ever ever ever ever ever? Maybe Al is worried that Ortiz might not want to go back. DAZN are guna be willing to pay him more. But then maybe DAZN know what they see when they see Ortiz. Its only Wilder fans that make him out to be some monster. The rest of us dont we see him as a decent Boxer with good power who never really achieved anything and is now aging and nearing the end of his career.
