DAZN will not be able to capitalize on that rematch here in America sadly for them

December 7th is just the worst date possible and especially having the fight in the Afternoon

That is NCAA College Football Championship Week! They will likely be going Head to Head with SEC Championship so NOBODY other than us the Hardcore Boxing fans will tune in to see it. Leaving A LOT of money on the table

When did he say anything about how bad Mikey was treated for the Spence fight? I never heard him say anything about that.

But I think from the article it is clear that Joshua really isn't that important to DAZN USA, so they are fine with it taking place when it is. Sure the rematch could have brought in solid number of subscribers, but they just want the Canelo/GGG trilogy more than anything at this point. The fight taking place in SA is also saving DAZN over 10M so they at least get to save some money in that regard.

Yeah but after all those views the highlights received from the first fight, DAZN hope was to cash in on the Rematch clearly

Yeah, I think they would have done solid numbers no doubt. But maybe not game changing numbers the license fee to air the fight would warrant.

They did insist on the fight being here. You think they're happy it's in SA? Notice the was no DAZN swag on the poster.

And Eddie would have the fight exactly where his boss John Skipper told him to have it or he would be kicked out of DAZN as soon as his probationary period was over.

AJ is more like Carmelo Anthony. Another beautiful thread.
