  • When A Fighter's Carreer Is Full Of Hometown Decisions... it discredits his legacy

When did boxing ever become figure skating? Where paid off judge's opinions become the end result.

boxing is a combative sport and the most definitive end is the KO. When a fighter's career is ridden with close decisions that went to home town fighter like Garcia, Ward, Ottke, Sturm and Mayweather..... their legacies can never be as great as those that travelled and conclusively beat their best opposition by stoppage. There will never be any debate.

in the same way that Pernel Whitaker is an ATG because a lot of his losses are ASSUMED "wins".

On any given day, Mayweather could have 3 or more assumed losses on his record against B-level opponents.

There will always be * next to their names. it is what it is.

his bank account is based on the segment of the population who get pimped on the regular by churches, Nike, Dre, etc etc. these people have no brains.

It's not a feat to con these people of their money. Just sell a racially motivated dream.

          it's sad actually.

I agree although it's not necessarily hometown, just which ever person has the most ifluence (Read money) over the judges.

correct. Herrera beat Garcia in Puerto Rico right? not Garcia's hometown but he still got the decision.

In the same way Whitaker gets the assumed W against Chavez Sr. We would have to assume Garcia got the L.

A paid off judge's opinion ain't gonna change what I saw.
