The bill, even if it passes in the House, will never get by the Senate. Republicans have already stated as much. The Senate, while being called today's "Herbert Hoovers" by the Dems, have reservations about passing such a bill because they are concerned about state governments using said moneys to pay off spending which had accrued before the COVID-19 virus hit. Also, they have stated that they want to see what the effect is of people going back to work, before passing another package. While they realize the pressure is on, I don't see them caving to this.
