Cant believe something as simple as a long hook is an unknown in mainstream boxing, only a few guys know how to do it properly,and they use it alot when they do know how, I would have thought it would been a bread and butter technique by now taught by everyone in the same way normal hooks are. The evolution of boxing as a sport is a SLOW process.
I think Taha stole Gerry Cooneys technique for throwing a right hand then applied it to all his strikes.
