Now I'm not defending Fogle at all (I actually feel those who commit sex crimes should in some cases face the death penalty), but this is in response to the parents suing Fogle.

Fogle, in his plea deal, agreed to pay restitution to all of his victims. These parents child got her money. The parents then decided they wanted money too, and thus sued Fogle. This is his response.

So there is wrong on both sides, though Fogle is the only one here who is a criminal. And a vile one at that.

Not for that, no.

Yes, he deserved prison time, but not the death penalty.

I'd basically reserve it for child rapists, those who use weapons or physical force to rape women, and those rapists who re-offend when they get out of prison.

Where I grew up we had a neighbor go to prison for rape, and I saw how my dad dealt with it when he got out. Maybe that's why I'm so big on this, or maybe it's that men who commit rape absolutely disgust me. Animals use force to get sex, decent human beings shouldn't act that way.
