Why are boxing fans so hard on to see boxing fail?

Yes, but the rights fee on FS1, like it was on Spike, is fairly modest. The FS1 shows aren't profitable. Just a way to keep the roster busy.

NBC was dropped because they weren't interested in paying for boxing.

ESPN was dropped because they weren't willing to pay much for boxing, although Top Rank did end up swooping in to take the deal PBC had turned down.

It was never going to be realistic to land paid deals with every single network. How successful the PBC experiment was largely comes down to whether FOX is willing to invest more after UFC leaves. We don't know the answer to that yet.
Shout out to you for keeping things consistant and fair all these years on this website. this is good information if its true.

However it may have been a bad move for PBC not to take the ESPN deal that top rank has. After all it looks like espn might extend their deal and is looking to host a combat sports once a week on their network.

Do you have a link of the agreement though? I believe I read the FS1 agreement but never the FOX one.

Cause it was built around FMW, once he left it was a wrap for for PBC. Then they also have guys that are just making some of the most boring fights they can, no one wants to fight anyone. Wilder, the ****ing world HW champion have been sitting on his ass for 4 months now get him back in the right please. He should be fighting 3 times a year, Keith have not fought in over a year.
Boxing is a content driven sport, no content means no success.
Thier should be a pbc card on every weekend. Their star boxers should be all fight 3 times a year, minimum 2 times a year. When was the kast time you saw Danny Garcia, or Shawn in the ring. What are we supposed to be watching, like for real?

Built around Floyd who was never going to fight on a PBC card? Really? How does that make any sense?

Lets be real here, Floyd attached himself to the PBC marketing, or maybe its a coincidence that everybody the guy has under his promotion is on PBC.....

ESPN was looking for exclusivity and offering less than Showtime was paying. Wasnt realistic for Haymon to take the deal. He has way more mouths to feed than Arum.

Under PBC? I mean Mayweather Promotions works with SHO so obviously most of their fights will be with the PBC. But I don't recall Floyd attaching himself to the PBC. Why in the world would he do that? He's his own entity and doesn't need to attach himself to anything.

they arent. pbc has become synonymous with mismatches, thats why people wanted it to fail, and believe me it has.
