  • [Need Advice] Shadowboxing

I plan on shadowboxing more often now right after my warm-ups. Anyone have tips on shadowboxing as a relatively new boxer, routines and such?

Also should I be taking the movements slowly or fast?

Any tips at all would be great.

you get extra benefit if you visualize fighting an opponent, slip a jab before you throw yours, mimic the little twitch's left-right-back think about setting him up - jab to the body, jab to the body, then faint the jab the the body and come up with a hook. just go through all the little tricks and scenarios that you want to work on. and once your warmed up do it as fast as you can.

my dad always told me. ' AS LONG AS YOU SHADOW BOX YOU'LL ALWAYS BE UNDEFEATED " and i looked good shadowboxing lol. do it maybe as a warmup before sparring. consentrate on other things like conditioning, cutting off the ring, watching film not as a fan but as a student of the game. not sayin don't do it but there are other variables that are more important
