There was no shame in the loss as he just got out-professional'd. But why do people ignore he was 25 years old? Most of these fighters that turn pro, especially in the states are like 19-21 years old. HUGE difference.

This is silly. No other hall of famers have that out of his world extensive amateur and olympic career. Plus those pro-am type fights he had. In this hypothetical scenario you have to assume those guys would have close to 400 am fights and go pro at 26-27.

Few fighters have the amateur pedigree that loma had and the fact that he had all this hype behind him and still lost to a past prime out of shap salido is an embarrassment. Atg don’t lose to the past prime salidos of the world

It's apples and oranges since as everyone else has stated, Loma had a wealth of amateur experience and was 25, but I was looking at his resume again yesterday, and man do you see who he's fought in just 12 fights? There's a couple of p4p and top fighter names in there regardless if they were too small for the weight, past their prime, etc. I don't think you can argue that it's impressive what he's done this quickly in the pros.

None because most fighters would never try this nor would their team allow it

Losing happens, not every fighter thats great will lose to a great fighter
My only problem is that when he's foul instead of fouling back, he looks to the ref..that's usually a sign of having a lack of heart. Lomachenko seems to have fixed that so kudos.
