The fact that David Lemieux is arguably the second/third best fighter that you've ever fought, over the course of a ten-year pro career, is pathetic and the fact that folks seem to think that that is enough to get "credit", says more about you than it says about the "bruddas".
Neither the public not the boxing world believes Lara can actually fight Golovkin. He would be a bigger underdog than Khan was against Canelo.

Wilder is a hypejob...no two ways about it, he's in the same boat as GGG but has fought even worse fighters. He was robbed of a chance to prove himself against Pedvetkin.

Thurman was loved by everyone and I do mean everyone when he was knocking guys out , it's his decision to fight defensively that has lost him fans.

Floyd like we said despite being a convicted woman beater, made an entire persona centered around people disliking him...The Rock did it in WWE for christs sake it's not racism.

So questioning Bud's competition is hating on him?
Russell Jr?? The guy that fought TBA until he was beaten?? He doesn't deserve some criticism for that??

Joshua is huge, good looking and talented....fat fu(ks on the internet are always gonna hate a guy like that.

Adonis..once again only criticized for his competition...Once again that is not racist. it's what you do to GGG unless you are saying you are driven my racists motivations.

Alexander? LOl he sucks...Made a career off a lucky uppercut against Urango but I've never seen anyone hate on the guy... He done very well for himself.

Jacobs's chin is question...yes he has been knocked out by someone who wasn't a huge puncher.

Qullin....Once again only ever seen his competition questioned.

Broner has does get hate. He invites some of it but he is also a target to some people. Yes, on Broner I agree.

Charlos?? The guy's that have existed for about 4 months? C'mon man....

Spence is dangerous...Of course people fear him. But it's his boxing skill and how it will affect there fighters , not his skin they dislike. I don't like Spence, he's been hyped up as a guy Brook is terrified of. Yes I a white guy dislike Spence because he's being used to undermine Brook, a mixed race fighter.

        Grow the **** up/
Just to point out, it's odd how you've managed to find a way to try and justify hate for basically every Black fighter with any modicum of public profile (with the exception of Kell Brook, who you like), for reasons/rationale that would literally have no effect on any other fighters.

People at least entertained the possibility that Khan could outbox Canelo. Nobody will be giving that chance to Lara against Golovkin, they'll be asking why a middleweight champ is fighting smaller guys that Canelo already beat.

K2 has never made any public mention or leaning towards looking for fights with Eubank Jr, Khurtsidze, or Alfonso Blanco (all fights they could've easily made efforts to make if they wanted); the same can be said for Lara and a hos of other fighters.

The game is pretty obvious at this point.

K2, after seeing the first 6 years of his career spent in Germany, got their hands on a 30-year old MW fighter who'd already burnt through the most of his career in the amateurs. With the end obviously near, K2 wants to find a way to at least get one big payday out of Golovkin before he's done. In waiting for said payday, they've been desperately careful in terms of who they've been willing to consider putting him in with.

Lara doesn't have those legacy credentials, at this point he is regarded as a good but not great fighter. He will never be a star in the sport, he has no wins significant enough for fans to think he will ever be HOF. Casual fans dislike watching him fight. At the top level he's already put in disappointing spoiler-type performances.

He's someone Golovkin could fight on regular HBO advertised as a "stay-busy" fight but you are deluding yourself if Lara would be sold as anything more. He's not even in Golovkin's division. If GGG fights and knocks him out then he'll be just another name on his record, people might even discredit the win on the basis of him dragging somebody up.
Golovkin has yet to have a single professional fight where he's ever walked in as less than a 10:1 betting favorite.

If Floyd Mayweather were to walk into a ring and 12-0 him like he did Alvarez, people will briefly be bewildered, go and actually look at the names that Golovkin has actually been fighting, and finally point out Golovkin as the unproven hypejob that he is.

At this point, Gennady Golovkin and Sven Ottke are basically in the same conversation.

Erislandy Lara, say what you want about his style, is a known quantity in the boxing world and is arguably the best 154lb fighter on the planet right now; you line up Lara's ten best fight opponents against Golovkin's ten best fight opponents, and Lara's resume takes a fat **** on Golovkin's resume (on top of that, it's not like Lara's ever been blown out in a fight either).

If Golovkin steps in with Lara and blows him out, Golovkin would've finally defeated a tricky, awkward guy (that the boxing world views as legit) in a fashion that no other fighter (on a solid resume) has ever been able to do. Use your head.

The real apprehension, as I see it, is that Golovkin fights Lara, Lara fights like Lara (keeps things long, lands that left when pressure is attempted, "spoils"), Lara fights Golovkin to a 12-round decision, and the whole Golovkin mystique goes up in smoke.

Erislandy Lara has never been dominated in a fight and has been in fights with guys that are bigger than Golovkin and his camp have ever admitted to being (Alvarez, Angulo, Trout, Ronald Hearns[talent is whatever], and Vanes Martirosyan are all physically bigger and with more shown dimensions than Golovkin is).

Erislandy Lara is 5'9, has a 74" reach (4" longer than Golovkin's), has almost a dozen world-level fights under his belt, and likely walks into the ring for any fight north of 165lbs in his own right.

Use your eyes and your brain; don't let the gimmicks trick you out of your position. If Lara was anywhere near the soft touch that you want to think, why are K2 so deliberately acting as if the man doesn't even exist (when the media story is that the entire world is so afraid of Golovkin that no fighter would even fathom fighting him)?

If you wanna be mad at something. Be mad at hbo making fights like golovkin vs monroe jr or golovkin vs Rubio or golovkin vs wade.

Don't hate on lara who has been in the ring with Paul williams and canelo alvarez. Lara has been fighting on hbo and showtime for over 4 years. He is as qualified as anyone to share a ring with gennady. And whether you like him or not, he has yet to get his ass kicked.

He is the best fighter golovkin has ever seen and he is willing and able to fight.

I'm tired of these fake ass fans tryna always downplay a legit fight, but are nowhere to be found when golovkin fights bum after bum.

Lara vs golovkin is a good fight and it's better than any fight golovkin can make outside of canelo.

Lara is better than Billy saunders. Point blank period.

this just isn't true. he's never fought a ranked middleweight in his life.

erislandy lara is not a p4p elite fighter. weight classes matter.

golovkin has 6 top 10 MWs on his resume, has been ducked by virtually every top 10 MW of the last 2-3 years, and he's top 3 on any decent p4p list. Tbrb included.

if you can't see the difference between a green canelo at 152 and a grown man on the p4p at 160 you're f#cking crazy.
