Ring generalship is some ambiguous **** that means nothing in the end
Defense doesn't count at all...you don't get points by making your opponent fail, no matter what the fans of featherfisted "slick" fighters like Floyd claim
Floyd outlanded his opponents and even his fluffy jabs were counted as power punches by judges, that's how he won for the last decade

GGG Defends with his FACE. Might have granite chin but when your face starts swelling that gets painful hence the lack of ring generalism

And also a trial by camera where a low blow that wasn't seen or a trip that wasn't ruled etc can be instantly set right and over ruled. I hate seeing a blatant fowl but because the ref didn't see it its not ruled, that's wrong when the rest of the world sees it instantly in slow motion.

the rest is nothing but pretentious bull**** and redundant crap
defense doesn't count for **** when it comes to points
I don't care if you make your opponent miss more than a drunk guy trying to hit a pinata, if he still outlanded you and hurt you because you were too busy doing your sweet pea stuff to even throw punches in that round, then sorry, he won that round.

In his fight with Canelo he landed a lot of jabs and I assure you each of them counted as a scoring blow. Canelo has come out on the short end of the punch count in both of his fights with Golovkin. It's a double standard.

Anyways thats part of the reason boxing gets a bad look. Its like this weekend was about who was more Mexican vs. boxings "supposed" rules...
Bad decisions are the norm in boxing these days, but it's still hard to see a guy lose his titles at the hands of the judges.
