Possibly. I'm wondering if we don't see Golovkin - Saunders first though. I'm thinking time is on Canelo's side here and there isn't much chance of GGG losing to Saunders which also adds the extra belt to the mix. Not quite sure what Canelo does in the mean time though - Cotto 2 perhaps?

That would be the best case scenario for all involved if they don't do an immediate rematch. Canelo gets another money match while GGG gets decent money to unify the belts. Both against opponents they should beat.

Correct me if I'm wrong, weren't you going for canelo to win?

No, I slightly favoured Golovkin but I wouldn't have been shocked if Canelo had won. Canelo's hand speed was the biggest factor for my doubt and I expected Canelo to be physically and mentally strong. BUT I gave the edge to GGG. I was one of the very few people on here who thought GGG vsJacobs would be a very close fight, though I slightly favoured Golovkin in that one also.

I thought Golovkin won this fight clearly.
