The strength of these things always freaks me out. They are like one huge, fluid muscle.

I'd hate to have to fight one off barehanded.

And that's just for the normal boas let alone for a huge prehistoric one.

It's like the size of a medium sized dog, bout 3 ft long, 20 pounds-ish. They swallow em with the quills and all though, prob why it looks so big.

I read a guide years ago when I went to South America that said something like try to go in feet first if attacked by an Anaconda and gouge its eyes. I had to chuckle to myself thinking how the he'll am I going to do that if I'm being wrapped up and suffocated.

I actually measured out 40 feet today and the circumference of a snake who's body would be the height of a man's waist.....its scary. I don't like snakes to begin with, but 40 plus feet and one tone of pure muscle.....**** that!

Why was everything bigger in the past? The only thing getting bigger now are Americans.

There have been a couple of 7 foot tall, 400 pound high school football players roaming around the country the past few years.

snakes are strange (stupid). they kill, then eat things so big it leaves them vulnerable to get killed afterwards.

im amazed by how the deal with quills and antlers though.
