I dropped a lil money on Schwarz for one reason: Tyson Fury.

It was a BS stoppage! Schwartz was using the rope a dope technique, planning to tire Fury out and go for the late KO!

EVERY. DAMN. TIME. He's been dropped by a right hand. EVERY. DAMN. TIME. Don't matter if it's overhand or straight. The man just seems incapable of taking that shot for some reason. Which is why it was so bizarre to see him walk through Grabomir Clinchko the way he did.

Schwarz has at least a puncher's chance as a guy who relies on a right hand, eats punches with his face AND has no problems taking a W off a DQ.

Fury has to completely DOMINATE this fight. Anything less and there's no way you keep him #1.
Jesus, I bet my life savings on Schwarz after seeing this post, you fucking bastard.

Nah. The stoppage was clean and clear. Levels were on display. It wouldn't surprise me if he was trying a Clottey strategy but he was getting tagged nearly as bad as Joshua was.

Despite the sarcasm, I specifically said a PUNCHERS CHANCE. There were no guarantees in this fight, it came down to whether Fury would show up or not. The Fury we saw last night is not the Fury that showed up against Pianeta.

The only thing I was wrong about was expecting it not to end in any kind of knockout.

Here’s my thinking, that’s the only way he can win, plus if he did do this then I’m set for life, if he didn’t knock Fury out then all I’ve lost is a 100, that’s a weeks food for one member of my family, my Nan will have to go hungry for a week

Once again, if you're not betting on underdogs, what's the point of betting at all?

You don’t know how professional betting works. People who actually make money find good value bets for the most likely winner and drop good money on it so that the payout is still a good amount, even through the risk is bigger than the reward, the risk is minimal.

Small bets on underdogs is how bookies make all their money. Cities like Vegas were built on your idea of betting. People just basically handing money over that has very little chance of winning accumulates to huge income for bookies

Of course If you’re just betting for a bit of fun and hoping to get lucky once in a blue moon then betting on underdogs is ok but really if you’re looking to make money then betting on likely losers is stupid. All those casinos and rich owners are built on people backing underdogs and bets that have almost no chance of winning.

There's no damn way anyone bet money on Tyson Fury when your payout was about $1 per $100.

It's WAY smarter to risk $40 in spare change on the possibility of winning over $600. Hell, if another 39-1 Buster Douglas situation came up, I'd drop the same spare change on that.

How's it any different than wasting money on lottery tickets, which a LOT of Americans do?

This is why gambling is evil.

After my 10 fight parlay collapsed by a loss in the last fight I was done with gambling.

This dude truly believed he was going to win, just as I did in the past, convinced. Just never works out.
