  • need help on my workout routine

    can some1 please correct my workout or something to improve on

    mon/Tues/Thurs
    Jog 30min (morning)

    -boxing gym-
    skip 2x3
    3x2 sparring
    focus pads
    heavy bag
    medicine ball

    -home-
    shadow box w/weights 4x4 min
    situps,jumping jacks, pushups, duck walk
    Practice slips
    sprint for 15min

    wed
    Jog 30min (morning)

    -home-
    shadow box w/weights 4x4 min
    situps,jumping jacks, pushups, duck walk
    Practice slips
    sprint for 15min

    fri/sun
    Jog 30min (morning)

    -Gym-
    1. Bench Press
    2. Squats
    3. Chin ups
    4. Dips
    5. Leg Press
    6. One Arm Row

    shadow box w/weights 4x4 min
    situps,jumping jacks, pushups, duck walk
    Practice slips
    sprint for 15min

    Not bad, i would add some plyometrics and explosive lifts like cleans or push-press to your lifts. Also jumprope for footwork and put more emphasis on time of shadow boxing. I am of the opinion that it is better shadown box with out weights for a longer time than to use weights. Other than that just spar more as u get experiance, peace.
