"Detroit " pizza is Neapolitan pizza. Didn't originate in Detroit. My granmother and mom made it the same only with less meat.

None of the pizzas in this thread look like traditional neopolitan pizzas.

I like American style every now and again but most taste too greasy and are too sloppy to eat often. Though i should reserve judgement until ive been to the US and had the real thing.

Italian style is the best. Crispy with good quality dough for the base. Not overloaded with toppings. Good quality fresh ingredients.
