I'm all about NY style pizza.

I tried Chicago style once, **** was like a casserole.

How many times has this convo or discussion been had or discussed, debated and beaten to death ???

Let's not and say we did.

      It's NY hands down.

You can't eat that Chicago Lazagna on the run.....

It is square and the corners/edges are usually a bit crispy.

We don't eat much pizza, but when we did my wife loved to get that stuff.
Honestly, it looks like Pizza Hut pan crust.

        Looks good.

Little Caesar's sells a version of Detroit style. Not as tasty as the authentic stuff but it does have the same shape and crispy texture.

It's ALOT better than Pizza Hut.

This place wasn't a chain, so the pizzas had much better ingredients.

NY Style is the closest to European today.... Same in Romania, same in Mexico as I found out over Spring Break.

Very thin, carboardy really, but healthier(less cheese/sauce) and usually condiments on like crazy. I've started getting that type when I design my own from Dominos.

We have a non-chain Chicago place in Austin that's been around forever. They win alot of awards, great reviews, etc. I've never had the Chicago style, but my wife has had it. She much preferred the Detroit style.

                  Ah...Makes sense.

I think the founder of Little Cesars is from Detroit.

I wont touch Little Caesars. It was ok in the 80s and into the 90s. Now it's worse than some store bought pizzas.
