Why does Golovkin want retired Froch at 168, but Ward at 164?

Ward shouldn't have been such a d1ck to Dawson when Dawson asked for a catchweight. At least GGG is giving a compromise, unlike Ward.

You called Paul Williams a b1tch for asking Sergio Martinez to come down to 157 for a MW title fight back in 2010.

Interesting how your standards have changed.

Froch truly believed he could knock Ward out. Froch never avoided anyone. "Avoiding" wasn't brought up by anyone but you. We are talking about selecting fights to look good in. Stay on topic

Golovkin's team have selected fights to look good in and avoided ones where there's the potential of defeat or looking bad.

Froch wasn't retired when Loeffler tried to make a fight with him.

Loeffler said they didn't ask for a catchweight "Out of respect for Froch and his marketability in the UK"

In other words, the same reason Ward would fight Floyd at 160 but not GGG at 164 - money.

What fighter has he avoided? If you say Ward you lose credibility. That has been cooked up on this site beyond belief. Nobody is talking about Ward except on this site. Cotto-Canelo winner is what they want next. Are they all of a sudden not good enough? Why can't GGG stay at 160 and unify? Why is it on this site that if a guy doesn't move up or down he is considered a duck? Ward has been at 168 forever. Hell, he barely leaves Oakland. Floyd unified at 147. Why can't GGG unify at 160?

Nobody is talking about Ward? Really? All the media questions in the build-up to last night's farce....I mean fight...were "When are you guys gonna fight Andre Ward?"

They've had chances to fight Andre Ward and they haven't taken them yet. Now it's "maybe 2017".

I have no issue with the Cotto-Canelo fight, if it actually happens.

But then it's time to make the fight that people really want to see because of its significance and not because of some phoney idea that there are more "exciting fights" out there. Which is code for continuing to face guys like Lemiuex who will make him look good.
