Neck strength training

I was in the gym one day and did work with this professional because he had me and some kids work with him and what we did for neck training this one time was
We lied on our backs, brought our knees up and our neck/head off the ground and SLOWLY performed the "Yes" and "No" rotations with our neck. Keep your hands on your knees or flat by your sides.
Stretch before and do the exercises slowly and don't hyper extend.

another thing you could do is get your partner to hold your head carefully to put resistance and turn right left up and down for 12 secs at a time
