    It's all about Haymon.

The idea that Wilder somehow ducked Povetkin when Povetkin is the one popping dirty for PEDs was always about the shame of spending months insisting Wilder didn't want the fight. And that insistence had everything to do with believing Wilder being a Haymon fighter.

And after he knocked out Molina, Joshua chose to defend against him.

It's just an obvious double standard. If you're with Haymon, NSB ****s on you.

Even though Wilder has the best win of any heavyweight champion, is the longest reigning champion, holds the title with the longest unbroken lineage, etc.

I don't see a bunch of threads bashing Joshua and Parker, even though neither has a better win than Wilder. So strange.

The exact second he steps in with Joshua, Ortiz, Fury or Haye, he is getting exposed as the overhyped chickenshit that he is.
That has nothing to do with this thread. It's not about whether he can beat the top fighters but rather about if he's willing to fight the best of the best.

And Wilder has proven that he is willing to fight the best of the best in their own back yard. But NSB posters penalize him for his courageousness.

I want to get to the bottom of why people feel the need to criticize courageousness and the willingness of fighters to take on killers in hostile environments.

You don't understand how the sport works.

HBO passed on an Ortiz fight, but he still owes them another fight. They would not pass on Ortiz-Wilder, therefore, that fight can't happen until Ortiz fulfills his obligation to HBO.

They are trying to turn this into a resume thread. I admit his resume is pure garbage. But he was granted an opportunity to up his resume against the #2 heavyweight in the world on his own turf but the PED cheat killed that opportunity.

Luckily Team Wilder sued his ass and won in court.

How is he afraid to fight the best when he signed to fight Povetkin IN RUSSIA?

That is not his fault. Saying Wilder doesn't want to fight the best when he already tried is ridiculous.

You can't name many heavies that don't have a garbage resume...it's a garbage division.

AJ and Ortiz just fought his leftovers...yet Wilder is the only one with the garbage resume.
