I believe was is a better term to use rather than is. Even then presumably he used performance enhancers to rise that many division while koing fighters. Then his power magically disappeared for 10 years .The mathyese fight was almost a farce lets be honest. Two way way past prime fighters fighting in asia where it seems manny's career has gone to die a long death. It's almost the boxing equivalent of tito ortiz vs chuck liddel if you follow mma aswell. But aslong as manny pacquiao fights fighters who arent anymore or ever were actual contenders then he i believe should keep fighting aslong as he doesnt get hurt. But he should stay far far away from elite in prime fighters. Dont want the phillipines rioting and going depressed if manny were to get just slaughtered by loma, crawford, or garcia.lol

            Damn legend.

The only missing piece really was the floyd fight which happened too late.
If both were in prime it wouldnt made much of a difference. Maybe pqc wouldnt of made up an excuse after his fight but thats about it.

Yes, Pacquiao also has a lot love and respect for Mexican boxing as well, he said so many times.

Manny had his greatest fights against Mexicans, they were his best rivals.

LOL of course it would have. Floyd wasn’t far from his prime — as much as pac was— when the fight happened. Only idiots would say “b-b-but floyd is older”.
Dude his fighting style ages well. He doesn’t take much beatings. And conserves himself in the ring. Look at hopkins career.
Pac is all explosive, and you can’t do that while you are aging. Cmon man, that’s basic knowledge.

Pac was like 60% or less of himself when the fight happened. He no longer had the stamina to throw all those awkward power punches. He Was already hesitant to attack after the JMM KO. Hell he can’t even KO the algieris of the world anymore. And you saying it wouldn’t have mattered? Lmao!! The difference was like night and day when he was at his best.

Floyd meanwhile still throws minimal punches just like during his prime days at welter. Maybe the footspeed reduced a tad little. And the reflexes.
But overall his game was of the same approach. Safety first, box and counter. While pac can no longer do the kind of pace he does when he was young.

Floyd style ages gracefully, while pac’s doesn’t. Doesn’t take a genius to see that.

Yeah, in the 4th fight he was in México city and a lot of people cheered him.

All the mexican commentators have respect for him, too the great fighters like Barrera, Chávez, Morales.

Manny said that Chávez was an Idol for him when he was young.

Its less the age and more probable him stopping his usage of performance enhancers for his lack of ko power. Lol. Seriously like ko power is last to go and it magically diseappered for 10 years? Like come on. Unless he had a shoulder injury every fight he def shouldve knocked out more fighters in that gap and besides his jmm fights not like he was fighting offensive jugaurnauts that could really wear down his body due to damage in fights. So physically im sure his body didnt drop down that much from his prime since he was just 36 not like he was in his 40s. Not like mayweather didnt have to change up his style slightly due to his hands being so beaten up he couldnt be as offensive as was in his prime. Ricky hatton fight and prior is what im talking about. I hate both fighters but ive always thought even in primes mayweather would cruise to a boring boxing clinic win. He also had a very strong chin so him being one punch koed or reg koed would be extremely unlikely. Plus mayweather was extremely good at adapting while manny isnt. So manny in prime would get frustated again for not being able to land often. Mayweather was always mentally stronger and smarter than manny was in ring so that wouldve been the biggest difference in primes not their bodies.
