I believe was is a better term to use rather than is. Even then presumably he used performance enhancers to rise that many division while koing fighters. Then his power magically disappeared for 10 years .The mathyese fight was almost a farce lets be honest. Two way way past prime fighters fighting in asia where it seems manny's career has gone to die a long death. It's almost the boxing equivalent of tito ortiz vs chuck liddel if you follow mma aswell. But aslong as manny pacquiao fights fighters who arent anymore or ever were actual contenders then he i believe should keep fighting aslong as he doesnt get hurt. But he should stay far far away from elite in prime fighters. Dont want the phillipines rioting and going depressed if manny were to get just slaughtered by loma, crawford, or garcia.lol

Damn legend.
The only missing piece really was the floyd fight which happened too late.

Yes, Pacquiao also has a lot love and respect for Mexican boxing as well, he said so many times.
Manny had his greatest fights against Mexicans, they were his best rivals.

Dude his fighting style ages well. He doesn’t take much beatings. And conserves himself in the ring. Look at hopkins career.
Pac is all explosive, and you can’t do that while you are aging. Cmon man, that’s basic knowledge.
Pac was like 60% or less of himself when the fight happened. He no longer had the stamina to throw all those awkward power punches. He Was already hesitant to attack after the JMM KO. Hell he can’t even KO the algieris of the world anymore. And you saying it wouldn’t have mattered? Lmao!! The difference was like night and day when he was at his best.
Floyd meanwhile still throws minimal punches just like during his prime days at welter. Maybe the footspeed reduced a tad little. And the reflexes.
But overall his game was of the same approach. Safety first, box and counter. While pac can no longer do the kind of pace he does when he was young.
Floyd style ages gracefully, while pac’s doesn’t. Doesn’t take a genius to see that.

All the mexican commentators have respect for him, too the great fighters like Barrera, Chávez, Morales.
Manny said that Chávez was an Idol for him when he was young.
