His team aren't even truly blaming each other. They're just pretending to blame others and each other so that is takes the spotlight off the fact he most likely turned it down because he knew he wasn't clean.

Nobody in his position is turning down that fight for that money for any other reason.

Same reason Miller's training partner and friend Adam Kownacki ruled himself out instantly.

Ortiz was pretty poor as an amateur, when he was being tested regularly, and he has failed 2 PED tests as a pro, so that could well be the reason he turned down such a great offer.

Did you see the answer he gave me?

$50million doe and if Eddie had sent Dade a contract for $7million - after Dade tuned it down - Ortiz would have signed it.

You couldn't make this **** up. These clowns have no shame at all. Everything Hearn does is wrong, every word he speaks is a lie, and you're either a fool or a fanboy if you don't agree.

Anybody can see Hearn is full of **** half the time, any promoter worth a damn is. They are after money and fighters are expendable.

Not a knock on Hearn, he’s gotten to the top for a reason, but to defend his integrity is laughable.
I'm not sure anyone is trying to defend Hearn here, it looks like most are calling team Ortiz out for not sticking to one story. Ortiz or any one of his team could have called Hearn out on twitter asking for a contract, instead they claimed lowball, then they claimed promoter screwed it up and finally now a couple of weeks later, it's he didn't send a contract.

I couldn't care less about Hearn, I care about seeing good fights. This had the potential to be one, and if team Ortiz were serious they could have been singing from the hills to force the fight. Unfortunately there was almost complete silence until Hearn said he'd expose them the following week.

So basically what I've learned is all the top heavyweights talk sh|t, call out each other, but when push comes to shove they give us crappy fights nobody wants to see. None of them are innocent in this complete farce of a situation.

Al Haymon - if it's not PBC I'm not interested, loyalty comes first even if I pay you 1/20th white people offer slave contracts (even though its 20 times more than you earn with me)

Shelly Finkel - wait till 2020...

Eddie Hearn - slow contracts, we made a huge offer...

Bob Arum - I have 1 P4P and 1 fat heavyweight fighter please notice me... Buy ESPN+ please.

Warren - I'm no longer relevant please buy me a meal ticket Fury, stay away from the boar.

        Joshua - coward, can't make a fight

Wilder - coward, got lucky decision

        Fury - coward, drug cheat

Ortiz - drug cheat, I can't get my story straight.

Ruiz - where the snickers at?

Whyte - I'll fight anyone (unless it's an eliminator...)

        Did I miss anyone?

All parties that have a vested interest make requests and consessions(offers, counter offers) until satisfactory terms are agreed upon. Once that has been accomplished and approved by both sides, the responsible party begins the process of creating a binding contract. Negotiations can be terminated by either party at any given time prior to a final agreement. Its been reported that Hearn made an initial offer which was turned down and subsequently made a counter offer which was also turned down. Apparently he decided to terminate further negotiations with Team Ortiz to pursue other fighters........ Again, I could be completely wrong when it comes to boxing but from whats been reported I don't see where the opportunity to write up a contract existed during the negotiation.
Lol, don't be coming here with that logical BS, it doesn't fit with the narrative of all the various fanboy/hater factions, so it can't possibly be this way SMH...

On a more serious note, I think this is beyond the intellect of most fanboy/hater posters, I imagine almost nobody will engage in conversation with you.

Contacts and negotiations are simple, it takes two to tango. If your dance partner isn't taking your hand, you either sit there and beg or go find someone that's in the mood.

          • Take the fight on 5 weeks notice! Sign our **** contract! Hurry up and buy!

GTFO Eddie "Hustler" Hearn. If you trust anything that con-man says then you're a damned fool.

So wait it was AJ's was at fault when he asked for a contract for the 50 mil but was refused by team Wilder so he decided call it a day and produce a counter offer for the fight to be in the UK.

But when Ortiz is offered 7 mil and his promoter go public slandering it as a low ball offer saying they want 10 mil you think Hearn should send a contract for 7 mil anyway and becuase he didn't beg Ortiz after being insulted by his team it's his fault?

I get it, it's Hearns fault no matter what plays out.

Your gonna have AJ fanboys bugging you for a week.

                  • both fighters needed more time to prepare to be honest any boxing fan should know this, no matter how old u all say Ortiz is it would have been a tough fight for AJ tho I think hed win. Ortiz turning down a $5mil contract made no sense if it was true tho.
