How y'all call the guy who got beat by THE Man, twice no less, the man is beyond me
First fight: most had Kovalev winning, judges gave Ward 114-113. Majority of Public and Media had Kovalev winning.

Second Fight: Kovalev was the busier fighter, throwing and landing more. Kovalev ate lowblows over the course of several rounds, and then a flurry of lowblows in which the ref jumped in and stopped the fight.

When Stevenson fought Jack, he also ate several lowblows, that’s when he started gassing bad, and he complained to ref several times. Ref did not stop the fight, he timed out and gave Adonis a breather.

But your standard is nothing if not double standard.

Also, while Kovalev challenged himself twice against Ward, Adonis really took the HUGE RISK and put it all on the line to face Fonfara twice.

    Yup, Adonis definitely da man!

    Otherwise your list makes sense.

Lol at people having Kovalev as the man at LHW. The hate for Stevenson is real. Ward didn’t want to fight Stevenson so Kovalev gets huge credit for losing to Ward twice. Makes sense.

If you get your **** pushed in, the way that Kovalev did twice, you don't get to call yourself "the man".

Say what you want, Stevenson flattened Dawson to claim the lineal light heavyweight title, and he's been offering up free smoke with no takers. It got so bad that Kovalev ran around talking all that ****, got the WBC to do the extraordinary in making someone else's champion their mandatory, with the pot split 50/50 by fiat, and he still turned tail.

Stevenson is 40 years old, is showing clear signs of age, but he's still not a fighter that anyone outside of Eleider Alvarez is openly calling out to fight.

Kovalev can't even say Stevenson's name, lol.
