There should truly be an age limit for Supreme Court Justices for both Democrats and Republicans. Once you hit 75 it should be mandatory that you have to retire. Not only do you start losing your mental capabilities but people at that age also start becoming very out of touch with the general society.

Donald Trump is 72 yrs old. So by your reckoning, he'll have lost his mental capabilities in the second year of his second term? And he should be forced to retire?

The big difference between Trump or any other President for that matter and a Supreme Court Justice is that a President is elected by the people. Therefore if a Presidential candidate is 72 and appears within his senses and capabilities and the people deem him competent enough to govern then ok.

With a Justice they are appointed when they are 50 and then are allowed to serve out their term for as long as they wish. If Trump starts looking like he is losing it at re election time, people can vote for the other guy, even if they do vote for him after 4 years he's gone. If Ruth Ginsburg or any other Justice is looking like they're about to lose it at 72 there is nothing you people can do about it.

Good point about the Judges, but is there actually nothing that can be done to remove them? Can't they be impeached? I really don't know, but I bet there is something in the Constitution about it. I'm working; you look it up.
