Athleticism helps a lot, but there are 2 things here. This is theworse era of heavy weight boxing. 2. Wilder hasn't faced what yet. That title only was released by a 43 year old man.

Champion HW boxers come from backgrounds of boxing since they were 12 years old or even younger.

They don't generally come from basketball or gridiron at all because the skills have no relevance and athleticism is not as important at HW as other aspects might be.

This is the biggest cop out argument from yanks ever.

If European boxers start to lose, they could start to claim that "All the European Heavies are doing the Ski Jump now"
