    SHADOWBOXING: two x three-minute rounds
    SPARRING: four to ten rounds
FOCUS PADS: two x three-minute rounds
SPEED BAG: three x three-minute rounds
    RELAX

    Non-sparring days
    STRETCHING: 10 to 15 minutes.
    SHADOWBOXING: two x three-minute rounds
HEAVY BAG: four to six three-minute rounds
FOCUS PADS: three x three-minute rounds
FLOOR TO CEILING BAG: three x three-minute rounds
    SKIPPING: 15 minutes, non-stop
    SHADOWBOXING: three x three-minute rounds

Anyone here train at this level?

Right now I run 3-4 miles per workout, then do shadow boxing for a few rounds and bag work for a few rounds. Going to have a friend train me on the mitts starting next week and I do light sparring twice a week.

Man that's some light work ****. If you wanna be the greatest your gonna have to train endless hours on drills, heavy bag and conditioning.

Did you read the post? Theory, meet practice. I'm posing the question to see what people actually do in their workouts.

Do you do more than 5 miles in roadwork a day?

Yea, I agree that is rather light minus the road work.

I am 5'8" 205-210lbs with a good amount of body fat and I could do that work fairly easy. It's not uncommon for me to workout pretty hard for 2 hours straight. A boxer at any level I think should be doing a LOT more in terms of conditioning.

One of my favorite workouts is below.

            Warm Up (15 mins
            - Shadowboxing
            - Jumping Rope

Circuit Train - 15 Rounds with 30 second rest in between (38 mins)

Round 1: Push Ups (2 mins straight)
Round 2: Squat presses with 45lb plate (2 mins straight)
Round 3: Bicep Curls (2 mins straight)
Round 4: Shadowboxing or Jumping Rope (2 mins straight)
Round 4: Heavy bag Punch Out Drill (2 mins straight)

^^^ Repeat this 3 times for a total of 15 rounds.

More Shadowboxing/Heavy Bag Work and Jump Rope (20 Mins)

Finish with a 1 mile run going from sprints to max incline.

This ends up being a solid 1.5 hour workout and you'll get into pretty good shape.

Those would have been easier days for me up at Galaxy when working under Johnny. Don't tell Johnny this, but everything besides the daily road work. My knees just couldn't take the pounding. Johnny was the most physically demanding coache out of Detroit, easily.

As for my claims, you can talk to Jackie about them. She'd without hesitation back up my fierceness and work ethic, not to mention Johnnies, up in that gym............. Rockin'

Don't mean to be a doubter man but how the hell do you weigh that much if you workout that hard i lose weight just by lifting weights 45 minutes to and hour 5 days a week and the only "cardio" i do is fuking and not even that last long 5-10 minutes

Give and take a couple of workouts but I skip a little longer and do 12 rounds on the heavy bag. Trainer is strict about the bag work.
