But Floyd needs to be real.

If he came out of retirement to fight Lil g at 154, he'd make a crapload of money as well.

    Maybe the same money.

Not because Triple L is as well known as McGroggy...but because the same folks would buy either fight.

Folks who want to see Floyd get his azz whupped.
But if he beat him c there would be a boat load of excuses. Buttlovekin was old, or floyd cheated, or blah blah

Floyd is an ATG, and GGG isn't in his league. Years from now Floyd will be discussed along with Dempsy, Louis, Pep, Robinson, Leonard, etc. Years from now GGG will be discussed like a Bob Foster, Terry Noris and other great punchers of the past. Different leagues.

Get real, what good fighter did Mayweather ever work over? (Please don't say Gatti)
Floyd's defensive style makes every fight close because Floyd takes the "fight" out of the fight.
Mayweather should stay retired, sit back and watch a boxer like Linares show how it's done. Speed, footwork and beautiful combination punching, this is what boxing's all about.

The 4.4 million PPV's for May-Pac is something that we will never come close to ever again, or at least not for a very long time from now. To assume that those bought either the Canelo/Pacquiao PPV's would buy the GGG PPV is not really thinking about star power. Canelo and Pacquiao are insanely popular A-side fighters on their own. Mayweather is an insanely popular A-side fighter. When you put that together you get crazy PPV numbers.

GGG is a B-side fighter. If GGG fought Canelo, Pacquiao, Cotto, he would be the B-side fighter. While Mayweather was the A-side in Pac, Canelo, Cotto, we all knew that the "B-side" fighters in those 3 fights were A-side fighters in their own fights.
                Point taken.

I just think a lot of Floyd's big fights have been padded by folks who want to see him lose.

And the bigger the threat, the better the gross.

But I am not going to argue against points I largely agree with.

Floyd is a defensive guru who's atg but no saying where ggg ends up after he knocks canelo out, Floyds been lowkey hating for a cool minute cause people were saying he ducked ggg to retire.

The most pathetic fanbase in the history of the sport, even worse than the pac turds.
It is funny...but the sad part is how easily Floyd would beat him. He had issues locating Danny. A guy with average to below average footwork/balance. He wouldn't catch Mayweather once. It would look just like Canelo v. Mayweather.

Floyd is 49-0, 5 division champion...buttlovekin is a 1 weight champion bum beater with 1 meaningful fight that many think he lost.
