As a trainer this was an ideal outcome coming off injury it also as noted by Virgil Hunter at ringside demonstrates the will and the faculty of great concentration that separates the contenders from champions...as the great Bernard Hopkins would say ' You are a four Round fighter! '

[QUOTE=OnePunch;17454559]man GTFOH with that nonsense. It was a 12 round fight that ended in FIVE. Im pretty sure they could have taken 30 seconds to show replays of the stoppage.[/QUOTE They got through the interview & credits pretty quickly. They showed the KD replay a few times then they whipped thru it pretty quickly. The ending is on youtube. Washington was staggering into the ropes & the ref grabbed him & led him to the corner. It was all but over even if he let it continue.

Wilder is genuinely an exciting fighter. So so flawed but with concussive power. That was exciting and Washington was definitely still rattled at the stoppage. Granted he's fought a lot of bums and his technique is rudiment but his right hand is fast if he catches you in between which has been how several of his foes have gone out.
