Your the one who is once again stereotyping... You are incapable of looking at a situation involving law enforcement objectively...I have no problem doing so.
When’s the last time you argued with a Police Officer in court? I’m guessing never. You’re confused.

You have zero facts in this situation buddy. You have no idea. The principal probably figured that was the only way to fix her. Who knows? You weren’t there. And you’re a weak human being...

Hey f uc wad who are you calling a weak human being? who the f u c do you think you are? you do not know me. I have gone to court and argued against an officer, so what? Cops make great witnesses, they are professional witnesses.

There are plenty of facts that have come out I even shared a video of another cop detailing some of the facts. And a jury of the cops own peers decided to deal with him. Yet you know better?

I just hope you are not a parent and did not raise young children if you think this is appropriate. And thats your excuse for the principal? Shouldn't she know better being someone who works with kids?

Look dude... whether you believe this or not, my anger is outrage at the situation, and you are insulting me so you are catching some of it, and it serves you right... As a teacher, who has taught in high school in bad areas, I have seen plenty of principals like this woman, and she should not be defended. You ever deal with the burocracy and top level of educational functionaries? I have.

Again, you do not deal with young children that way it is outrageous. I think you are insulting me because you probably know better, as you are generally a sensible poster... Except you seem to think the cops are always right.

There are times when a situation looks a certain way and the cop is correct, and there are times when a cop has no choice, and there are times when the cops are at fault.

The school system has lots of kids like this, one does not arrest them. YOu know where we might find some common ground? ARREST the parents!! I would have had more of sympathy for a cop who arrested the parents than a young person who has very little understanding about what she did, and why she was being punished.

I can't really see a feasible scenario for it being necessary to cuff and arrest a 6 year old.

Keep in mind, a person has to be unable to hurt themselves as well.

If a child (6+) is truly out of control and snacks and threats don't work......

Those are decisions made outside of a classroom and if this child was self hurting, then you call in mental health professionals. You know why this is relevant? I will give you two reasons:

            1) Perhaps most important: the assistant principal wanted to press charges on the girl. I want you to think about that. Do I have to outline the vindictive and pettiness of this act? YOu call the parents in, you schedule an intervention and have the girl removed from the classroom...You do not press charges on a 6 year old because your wacky state says you can!

Parents are the responsible party, any charges should be directed to the parents, not the kid. At the very least they should have tried to call the parents.

            2) If this girl was problematic she should have been in a special education setting with a person (Para) working with her. I taught special ed...You have what is called an I.E.P Individual Education PLan, that outlines treatment goals, and programs to assist and structure the routine of the student. Every student in Special Ed has an I.E.P.

Was this girl even in special ed? If she had those mental issues they should have been addressed by the school.

Being ''arrested'' can also mean getting a person help. Take said person away from here. Not necessarily life behind bars or even go to jail.

Parents can't be there 24/7 unless there is a stay at home mom.
If a parent knows their child has behavioral issues (sometimes violent), steps should be taken. No one gets a pass. Get them help.

I'm sure there are plenty of children who are bonkers and have the attention they need from trained pros. Every now and then, shlt happens.

Once this kid calmed down (hand cuffs has a way of doing that), cop should have stopped and taken advantage of that moment of calmness.

              ''Give me a 2nd chance....''
Cuffs come off right the fu ck now, but keep her in the car and gently ask her what's up.

Why does her age matter in regards to not having handcuffs or not?

You are without a doubt, one of the dumbest people to post here. Incredibly ******.

Oh I completely agree. Arrest the parents.

But you’re a ****ing teacher... which we all know have gone completely ****ing mental with their *******ism...

I’m not saying arresting the kid is the correct thing to do. I never said that. But I guarantee you that kid won’t **** up anymore. For a very... long time.

What I’m telling you is you don’t know **** about the situation.

                    You weren’t there...

You don’t know what the kid did.

Speak up when you see video of the kids actions, not a video of what happened as a result.

Stop being a weak ****ing human being.

U are a trash individual. Re read my posts. I think I Express myself enough.

But ultimately I don't care what trash think. The perpetrator was dismissed. I hope the family gets some money for the trauma.

These punk ass police do worse daily and get away. Looking forward to see them held accountable to the fullest extent. That is a Great Day
