Beterbiev is 35 so maybe old age will catch up with him but he trains hard and takes care of himself unlike Kovalev so maybe he has a few years left as a monster who has KOed every pro he has fought. Bivol may be a problem for team Canelo since he is also extremely good and younger than Canelo. Bivol has repeatedly challenged Canelo to fight him at Canelo's best weight of 168.

I actually think Canelo will fight Beterbiev eventually. Canelo is the insecure type who cares what people think of him, and people are already accusing him of ducking.

But, team Canelo will be sneaky about it, as usual. Beterbiev is already 35, Canelo only has to wait another year or 2 and Beterbiev will inevitably decline.

Sooner or later Beterbiev will look vulnerable in a fight and look his age.

That's when the Ginger will pounce.

Just like he did to Golovkin and Kovalev.
