I'm convinced that Alfred Angulo is going to beat Canelo

Angulo has a great trainer and he has the style that can bring up Canelo's stamina issues. At time Trout was able to walk down Canelo and he seem to tire a bit..Angulo is more of a pressure fighter.

Canelo throws explosive combinations and he always fights at one steady measured pace. His days at 154 are definitely numbered.

Only concern for me is if Angulo's eye didn't heal up from the Lara bout.

I know people are going to say well Angulo lost to Kirkland but those are 2 completely different styles.

I don't make troll threads either. I truly believe Angulo will win and will have some money on the fight.

It's definitely possible - I hope Angulo's eye is alright. The kid had better be ready.

I'll be rooting for Angulo. He seems like a genuinely good guy, though I have nothing against Canelo either.

I believe the same thing too, I'm actually VERY confident about it. Canelo is good, not great, and people will see that this Saturday night. Think about his status and then think about the level of opposition he has fought, analyze it closely.

Also, while I don't believe in triangle theories and this isn't exactly one, I believe that Lara manages distance better than Canelo does. And to have the one dimensional Angulo be able to catch him twice and be down by a single point in two cards and up by three in the other says a lot about his relentlessness. I am confident that he will catch, hurt and... yes, stop Canelo.

I might be horribly wrong but I do not think so. We will see this Saturday.

If Angulo's chin and face hold up, yes, he'll wear Canelo down and beat him. But I think Angulo is going to take a lot a damage and I'm not sure if he'll be able to withstand it. I got Canelo winning a close fight.

I feel hes definitely a live underdog.

If he can get inside against Lara, he can Canelo as far as I am concerned and Floyd and Trout both hurt him with bodyshots and took a lot out of him. Angulo is relentless to the body and seriously heavy handed.

He gets inside on Canelo and tees off, I see Canelo getting stopped.

I don't feel he has the output, stamina or movement to keep Angulo off him. He fights in bursts. Angulo fights 3 minutes of every round.

Anything is possible. This is probably Angulo's last big shot to prove that he's a serious contender. Do or die for Angulo and I'll definitely be rooting for him in the fight.
