Is there a difference if you run lets say 3 miles at a almost full speed and running 3 miles at a medium pace???? Does either increase cardio more or makes you lose weight faster? or is the distance all that matters??

No body can sprint for a full mile. Full mile runs are endurance runs. I don't think it's possible to sprint that long of a distance. Sprinting 800 yards is damn impressive. Doing over twice that amount is near impossible.

wtf? 'if u can sprint one mile try sprinting for 2.' Thats ridiculous, if you can sprint for one mile then ur either a machine, or u dont know the definition of the word sprint. A sprint by definition is a pace that you can only keep up for a minute maximum, because you use anaerobic respiration, thereby producing lactic acid and tiring the muscles extremly quickly.
If you aim is to lose weight, you should be mixing it up between jogging over long distances and HIIT (high intensity interval training, basically where u work at full intensity for a length of time, then rest, then work again).

just sprint for 600meters or as fast as u can for that distance. Then take a minute rest, and do another 600 meters take a minute rest ,...rinse and repeat
i read this first at bodybuilding.com with regards to boxing and how this simulates a boxing round. Screw jogging,...do the sprinting thats where your speed and endurance will be developed from. Jogging is "old school training",...leave it in the past.

Jogging still has it's place. You should do both. Say what you want about the old timers but they had incredible cardiovascular systems as well as muscular endurance.
In fact, I think something that is overlooked is distance walking. Foreman once said that there is nothing better for your balance than walking. The guy would walked everywhere he went. The same was true with Marciano. Fitzsimmons was also known for taking several hour walks in the evening.
Basically if you are a fighter you have no excuse to be sitting around watching TV in the evening when you could be out walking. Just because the hard training is over does not mean it is time to lay down and relax. That's what the 9-10 hours of sleep is for.
