Roundhouse hook to the head

Anyone advise the use of this punch? One boxing gym I saw the 1st assistant trainer teaching that to one of his young high school fighters and I just left that gym before I signed up lol

ive never heard of a roundhouse hook. but if its a hook to the side of the head to go around the guard its a great hook that not alot of people throw.

If you never seen a round house leg kick its wide and round. The "round hourse" hook opens up wide ala Chuck Liddell or Rashad Evans UFC style hook lol
